8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

An intimate night featuring the regions finest singer/songwriters on the same stage performing, and explaining the inspirations behind, their music. We are proud to have some well respected stars from the Hull music scene.

Ruth Scott & James Wood
From the highly acclaimed Late Night Marauders, whirlwind soulstress Ruth Scott will be accompanied by the piano wizardry of James Wood, their songs have a unique blend of soul, R‘n’B and boogie evokes visions of smoky basement clubs in the 1950’s where beatniks and jazzheads would party.

Paul Baggott
Enigmatic frontman and songwriter for legendary Hull band Turismo, Paul graced many stages and festivals across the land throughout the noughties with a band that were considered one of the most loved of a generation in Hull. His songs are an anthemic, poetic take on modern life and this is a rare outing for him to explain the inspiration behind them.

Emma Fee
Emma has been performing in and around her hometown Hull for many years, most frequently with her band Happy Endings. Her songs are evocative and melodic, drawing lyrical inspiration from everyday experiences. Influenced by everything from The Beatles to Bright Eyes, Emma’s acoustic performances are honest, sometimes melancholic, sometimes upbeat and always heartfelt.

Quicksilver Kings
Led by Keith Hagger, this much loved acoustic trio from Hull, UK, who weave elements of country, folk, blues and pop over vintage rootsy songwriting. Their sixties-inspired, hook-laden songs will leave you wondering if you’ve heard them before and determined to hear them again. Keith’s vocal style is reminiscent of old classics like Buddy Holly and The Everly Brothers yet has a freshness to it that never fails to blow people away.
