SUMMARY:Heidi Talbot
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS :  Heidi Talbot – Tue Oct 21st 2025 7-30pm-10pm – Wrecking Ball Arts Centre\nHeidi Talbot celebrated 20 years as a professional singer in 2020 and released a compilation album featuring tracks from her last five solo albums.\nHer latest album ‘Sing it for a Lifetime’ was recorded during lockdown with some stellar musicians across several time zones. She has shared the stage and recorded with Mark Knopfler\, Graham Coxon (Blur)\, Idlewild\, King Creosote\, Tim O’ Brien and Jerry Douglas to name a few. Heidi has been nominated for folk singer of the year at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and the Irish Music Awards.\nHeidi was born in Ireland\, became a folk star in the USA as a member of the Irish American band Cherish the Ladies\, and now lives in Edinburgh\, Scotland. With a background like that\, it’s hardly surprising she should develop a style that switches easily between Celtic and Americana but subtlety is Talbot’s magic ingredient. From her gossamer voice to the delicate re-working of traditional and contemporary material that has earned her rave reviews for her records and live performances. The girl from Co. Kildare\, who spent several years in New York\, slips effortlessly between musical worlds but retains a personal modesty rooted in traditional folk.\nOver the past twenty years Heidi has performed all over North and South America\, the United Kingdom\, Ireland\, Europe\, Scandinavia\, Japan\, Australia and New Zealand.

SUMMARY:Roland Gift & The Blacks
DESCRIPTION:  \nTICKETS:    Roland Gift & The Blacks Wed Oct 15th 2025 8pm-10pm – Wrecking Ball Arts Centre \nAt one time picked by People Magazine as one of their 50 most beautiful people Roland Gift\ncame dramatically to attention with the release of the first Fine Young Cannibals album. His high\,\nsoaring voice was immediately recognisable\, his style being based both in classic soul singers and\nin modern techniques that provided him an edge. It was with the second FYC album four years\nlater\, however\, that the band began to break internationally\, with “She Drives Me Crazy” being\nheard everywhere\, in movies\, on television\, on the radio.\nGift spent the earlier part of his life in Birmingham then Hull. He entered music first as a\nsaxophonist with punk band Blue Kitchen\, moving on from there to the Acrylic Victims\, eventually\njoining Andy Cox and David Steel after the disintegration of The Beat sent them in search of a\nvocalist.\nRecently Gift has written 2 plays and a monologue for the BBC’s radio 4. The monologue\,\nSparkhill\, recalls the area of Birmingham Roland was born and grew up in. The plays Return to\nVegas and A Punks Progress are inspired by his coming of age in Hull.\nGift’s professional career has taken him from stage to screen and back again\, as his fans around\nthe world await the release of next project.

SUMMARY:Emma King
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS Emma King Sat Oct 11th 2025 8pm-10pm – Wrecking Ball Arts Centre \nEmma King’s remarkable journey has already taken her from Northern England to Tennessee\, touring Europe and receiving 5-star album reviews along the way. \nFrom the grass roots of Hull\, East Yorkshire and learning from her parent’s love of Fleetwood Mac & Elvis\, Emma developed the deep\, soulful Americana timbre that has now become a trademark of her sound. What made it even more impressive (and still does!) is how such a huge sounding voice comes from such a petite frame… \n 300+ gigs later and while still a teenager\, Emma’s calling became apparent when she spotted American legends like Johnny Cash & Willie Nelson on late-night TV and soon declared her musical future to be America’s homes of Rock ‘n’ Roll: Nashville & Memphis. For Emma\, she knew that musical growth meant travel\, and started to look outside of the city that had primed her for what was to come. Next stop\, Brighton… \n When Emma turned 17 she won a scholarship to the Brighton Institute of Modern Music awarded by Carleen Anderson (Brand New Heavies\, and God-Daughter of James Brown).  \n it was here that Emma King and The Heartsets was formed\, featuring Emma and 4 young musicians from Brighton\, all busting out Country-tinged Americana. After multiple tours to Germany\, and inspired by Emma’s ambition and plans to tour America\, the band followed suit and together they began self-funded trips to Nashville\, TN. The group’s instant likeability (and British accents!) eventually hit upon a management & record label team in PLC Records that took on and settled the whole gang in a traditional ‘band house’ in Manchester\, Tennessee\, heralding the start of a new adventure. Emma and the band went on a 5 year adventure that deserves a biography of its own one day \nIn between 21-hour drives touring up and down the Midwest\, Emma recorded at Sun Studios \,Memphis (home of Elvis and Rock n Roll’s earliest recordings); became a welcomed regular at Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Café; made herself at home in all of Nashville major studios; was the subject of a recording documentary project at Curb College of Music\, Daytona Beach\, FL.; she represented the UK at Nashville’s CMA International Show\, appeared on radio stations such as the famous WSM Radio (home of the Opry); she even found time to write and record with multi-award winning producers and engineers including Chas Sandford (Steve Nicks\, Chicago\, Bette Midler)\, Milan Bogdan (KC & The Sunshine Band and Jake Niceley(Alison Krauss) and to support acts such as Exile\, Jo De Messina\, Deanna Carter\, Old Dominion\, Thompson Square\, Rhonda Vincent\, Brett Michaels – as well as Toploader\, Sophie Ellis Bextor\, Colin Blunstone and The Drifters (in the UK).  \n Eventually\, Emma and co-writer/producer Ritch Spence moved back to the UK to release 2016’s eponymous debut album. The record received national radio play (BBC Radio 2 & BBC London)\, was an HMV recommended release\, and was supported by Abbey Road Studios (where it was mastered)\, BASCA\, BPI\, and Blues Magazine where Emma shared a covermount with artists such as Joe Bonnamassa.  \n\nNew music in 2025!

SUMMARY:The Blow Monkeys
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS The Blow Monkeys – Thurs Oct 9th 2025 8pm-10pm – Wrecking Ball Arts Centre \nThe Blow Monkeys are unique with a career spanning over 40 years.  Always making new music\, always stretching\ntheir own musical boundaries.  With worldwide hits such as the classics ‘Digging Your Scene’ and ‘It Doesn’t Have\nTo Be This Way’\, they became household names but there was always so much more going on with these soulful\ntroubadours.\nTheir relentless desire to move forward\, to collaborate\, to be socially engaged and to have something to\ncontribute. Back in the 80’s they worked with people as varied as Curtis Mayfield\, Paul Weller\, Cheb Khaled and\neven Jamaican Toaster EEK-a-Mouse!  “No band since The Clash in their early 80’s heyday had attempted to act\nas a sounding board for such politically engaged\, eclectic music”\nDr Robert even took time out to release one of the UK’s first homegrown “house’”.records ‘Wait”’ his top 5 duet\nwith Chicago soul diva Kym Maselle.\nAnd so the journey continues.  Reformed in 2008 The Blow Monkeys have been incredibly productive releasing\nnine new albums and playing hundreds of concerts.\nAnd now in the Summer of 2024 comes a sparkling new album ‘Birdsong’ on Alan McGee’s ‘Creation Youth’\nlabel.\n“I had a chance meeting with Alan at Youth‘s studio up here in the mountains near Granada and he asked me to\nwrite and record a “brilliant Blow Monkey record“.  I knew what he meant.  The songs just poured out almost\nwithout effort which is always a good sign..  Its a very ‘up’ record … deliberately so.”  Says Robert.\n“They just recorded an album at Paul Wellers studio and it is as good as anything Dr Robert did back in the day.”\nSays McGee “What is unique about Blow Monkeys is bar the drummer are all original members.  Next year we\ntour in Australia then the UK and Europe and release the album we just recorded on Creation Youth.  I love this\nband!“\nThese Monkeys continue to evolve. From their beginnings on the underground club scene right through to their\nappearance  on the biggest selling soundtrack of all time “Dirty Dancing” (You Don’t Own Me) and beyond.  Long may\nthey swing.

SUMMARY:John McKay’s Reactor
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS :    John McKay’s Reactor – Sat Sept 27th 2025 8pm-10pm – Wrecking Ball Arts Centre \n  \n\nThe Scream\, the debut album from Siouxsie & the Banshees\, was released\nlate enough in the punk era to bear some claim as the first post-punk\nalbum\, with only minor traces of ‘punk’ and enough hints of what had\ncome even earlier to feel utterly new.\n\n\nSiouxsie was clearly the focus of the band\, but the sonic dynamo was\nJohn McKay\, composer of most of the album’s music and hit singles\, such\nas Hong Kong Garden\, while simultaneously creating a wholly new guitar\nsound that was harsh and brittle\, yet melodically intoxicating\, best\narticulated by a confounded Steve Albini many years later\, “. . . only\nnow people are trying to copy it\, and even now nobody understands how\nthat guitar player got all that pointless noise to stick together as\nsongs”.\n\n\nMany of the most influential guitarists of the past four decades\ncredited John as a major influence\, including Geordie from Killing Joke\,\nJim Reid of The Jesus And Mary Chain\, U2’s The Edge\, Thurston Moore\,\nJohnny Marr\,and even the two guitarists who followed him into The\nBanshees – The Cure’s Robert Smith and Magazine’s John McGeoch.\n\n\nMcKay’s burgeoning status as the anti-guitar hero came to a sudden halt\nwhen he and Banshees drummer Kenny Morris – at artistic odds with\nSiouxsie\, bassist Steve Severin and manager Nils Stevenson – fled the\nband just after the start of a tour in support of the group’s second\nalbum\, Join Hands.\nIt became a major music paper scandal and eventually the subject of a\nBBC documentary\, with Siouxsie’s vitriol at the situation working its\nway into the lyrics of a later Banshees b-side\, ‘Drop Dead /\nCelebration’.\n\n\nAside from a solitary single on Marc Riley’s In Tape label some years\nlater\, McKay went silent.\n\n\nSo\, it is a revelation for many to learn that numerous excellent\nrecordings were made by McKay in the immediate years following his\nabrupt departure from The Banshees.\n\n\nUnheard by all but a very few\, featuring drummer Kenny Morris\, Mick\nAllen from Rema Rema\, Matthew Seligman of the Soft Boys\, longer-term\ncollaborator Graham Dowdall (Nico / Ludus) and John’s wife\, Linda… the\nlatter three of whom are now all sadly deceased.\n\n\nSixes And Sevens is an historic lost album bearing fair claim as the\nlost treasure of the post-punk era\, the album collects eleven compelling\nstudio tracks. A prelude to the great surprise of John’s return to live\nperformance\, with a fresh new band and a number of live shows in the\noffing. John McKay’s Reactor will feature the lad ‘imself on guitar\, Jen\nBrown (The Priscillas) on vocals\, Jola (Adam & The Ants\, The Priscillas)\non drums\, and Billy King on bass.

SUMMARY:The Unravelling Wilburys
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS :  The Unravelling Wilburys – Thurs Aug 7th 2025 8pm-10pm – Wrecking Ball Arts Centre \nThe Unravelling Wilburys\nNow hear this y’all:\nLegend has it the original Wilbury brothers from Nashville\, Tennessee\, were plying their trade as\na good ol’ Country band one night in Tootsie’s Bar\, when who should walk in but George Harrison\nfrom The Beatles and his old pal JeD Lynne outta the ELO. After a few beers\, George and JeD\ndecided they loved the Wilbury boys and called up some of their friends\, inviting them\ndowntown to hear for themselves. Those friends turned out to be Roy Orbison\, that Tom Petty\nout of the Heartbreakers\, and Bobby Dylan himself.\nThe story goes that\, after the show\, the famous five wanted to hang out with the shy and retiring\nUnravelling Wilburys. They all got pretty drunk\, and it seemed like the Wilbury brothers had got\ntheir big break when Tom Petty allegedly said they should all work together.\nSix months went by and the Wilburys heard nothing. Then one day they was passing a record\nstore and heard one of their own songs playing on the hi- fi. “Who’s this playing our song?” they\nsaid to the guy behind the counter. “Why\, it’s a new supergroup\,” the guy replied. “They call\nthemselves The Traveling Wilburys.”\nYes folks\, it seems the Traveling Wilburys became a tribute band to our home-spun originals.\nWell\, a few years and more passed and finally the Unravelling Wilburys decided to ‘reclaim’\nthose songs\, putting together a set of all the hits and the best stuD Dylan\, Petty\, Orbison\, Lynne\nand Harrison could muster between ’em. Then they headed for the UK. The folks there ain’t got\nmuch of a clue about Country music and took to ’em straight away.\nPretty soon they was travelling all over the country\, from the Orkney Islands to the Isle of Wight;\nfrom Penzance to Perth; from Southwold to South Wales; packing out theatres along the way in\ntowns whose names they’d never heard of and couldn’t pronounce.\nThe show features the best of the Wilbury albums (“Handle with Care”; “The End of the Line”;\n“The Devil’s Been Busy”; “Tweeter & The Monkey Man” etc.) and some of their supposedly\nthievin’ counterparts’ numbers like “Only the Lonely”; Won’t Back Down”; “While my Guitar\nGently Weeps”; “Like a Rollin’ Stone” and “Mr. Blue Sky”. The act even contains the kind of\ncomedy only a band spending too many nights in Travelodge hotels could dream up.\nThe Unravelling Wilburys are now so popular they even got to be a question on that TV show\n“The Chase”. Now that’s fame…even if it ain’t fortune.\nSo- Ladies and Gentlemen\, turn oD your hearing aid\, put your Zimmer frame to one side and\nprepare for a musical journey with Walter\, Blind Melon\, Sticky Willy\, Thumper and the Reverend Honky Tonk Wilbury. It’s a journey you ain’t gonna forget in a hurry.

SUMMARY:Heavy Pettin
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS:  Heavy Pettin Thurs July 10th 2025 8pm-10pm – Wrecking Ball Arts Centre \nWhen Heavy Pettin first burst out of Glasgow in 1981\, they were vibrant\, priapic\, anthemic and focused.\nAs they showed on a three-tarck demo\, and on the subsequent debut single for independent label Neat (‘Roll The Dice’ / ’Love Xs Love’)\, they were much much more than mere Def Leppard slaves.\nIn fact\, the Pettin had an international sound that owed something to AC/DC\, UFO\, Thin Lizzy and Foreigner\, but also had its own raging momentum.\nNot that the band found the road forward straightforward. But\, thanks to a work ethic that took them around the country\,\nplus a valuable session for Radio 1’s prestigious ‘Friday Rock Show’\,\nthe band eventually landed a crucial deal with the major Polydor Records.\nMoreover\, their 1983 debut album (‘Lettin’ Loose’) was co-produced by the creative Mack…together with Queen guitarist Brian May.\nNow\, that’s pedigree. \nAmazingly\, that album has survived more than 25 years of high-speed hi-tech developments intact. While other more celebrated records have dated badly\, “Lettin’ Loose” re-affirms the belief back then that the Pettin would plunge to big time stature. What went wrong at the time has little to do with band\, or lack of ambition/talent.\nIn America\, where they should have broken big\, long before Bon Jovi gave Love A Bad Name\, they were held back by the label’s insistence on an anaemic re-mix (as well as a title change to ‘Heavy Pettin’\, which caused more confusion than anything else). If the band’s essential\, vital British brio had been left as conceived in the first place\, who knows what might have been achieved. \nStill\, a slot on the bill for the 1983 Reading Festival\, the day that Black Sabbath infamously headlined when fronted by Ian Gillan\, did them no harm. And touring with both Kiss and Ozzy helped the quintet’s progress. \nTwo years later\, the Pettin return to the studio\, this time with producer Mark Dearnley (who’d worked with AC/DC and Krokus). The result? Pettin‘s second album: ‘Rock Ain’t Dead’\, which surprised many with a slicker yet conversely tougher approach. The lads really had progressed\, although ironically if things had gone to plan\, this would have been produced by Lance Quinn\, of Bon Jovi and Lita Ford fame. However\, just hours before the band were due to fly to Philadelphia\, to work with Quinn at his Warehouse Studios\, the decision was taken by PolyGram (to whom both Heavy Pettin and Bon Jovi were signed in the US) that\, instead\, he should start work immediately on what was to be Jovi’s second record\, ‘7800 Degrees Fahrenheit’. Perhaps then\, it should have been obvious that record company politics were to scupper Pettin. \nA third album\, ‘The Big Bang’\, was released by FM Revolver in 1989 – and still proved this lot were way ahead of so many others who were selling truckloads of ‘units’ and getting acclaim from the media.\nBut\, as the 1980s faded into memory\, so too did Heavy Pettin. \nHowever\, what has happened over the past two decades is that every so often\, people will dust down those Pettin recordings\, scratch their heads in confusion and wonder what went wrong.\nWell\, recriminations never help; they only serve to fuel frustrations.\nBut now the band are back:\nnot for nostalgic reasons;\nnot to re-capture a long past youth;\nnot to right past wrongs\,\nbut to make music. \nSo\, here we are\, not looking backwards to those years\, when this lot were ready to take on the world and toured with Motley Crue and Ratt. No\, this is about the 21st Century. Driven by a desire\, passion\, and a capacity simply to invoke the simple magic and rapport of what this band once stood for. \nSince stepping back out in 2017 the new line up fronted by frontman Stephen “Hamie” Hayman the band have been going about the business of reclaiming their reputation as a “tour de force” live.\n2018 saw them on tour in the UK with American legends Angel.\n2019 a headline set at HRH Hard Rock Hell followed by another headline appearance this time in Germany at the Headbangers Festival\, rounding off the year with another tour around the UK with Rock Goddess.\n2020 promised to be the best yet\, starting off with the amazing Monsters of Rock Cruise X followed by another headline festival appearance at the Brofest Festival in Newcastle.\nThen of course Covid happened !\nIn August 2022 after what felt like an eternity\, the band went out on a run of shows that would see them play in five different countries across Europe\, kicking off with a headline slot at the Legends of Rock Festival followed by a triumphant return to their hometown of Glasgow as “Special guests” to the legend that is Michael Schenker ! \nThe band have their eyes set firmly on 2023 – the 40th anniversary of the debut album “Lettin’ Loose”.\nTo mark the occasion a new remastered version of the Brian May produced original was slated for a March release followed by a run of shows. The plan is to record these shows for a 40th anniversary Live release later in the year. \nHigh on the agenda to round off 2023 is the release of a new album\, with material originating from the lockdown period through to date. \nWith a new management deal and solid line up in place the future looks bright. \nRock ain’t Dead !

SUMMARY:Bonafide + Syteria
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS :  Bonafide support by Syteria Fri May 30th 2025 8pm-10pm – Wrecking Ball Arts Centre \nThe Bonafide that audiences recognize today was formed on January 6\, 2014\, when guitarist Anders Rosell joined the band. The current lineup\, featuring Pontus Snibb (vocals/guitar)\, Niklas Matsson (drums)\, and Martin Ekelund (bass)\, has since released three studio albums – Denim Devils\, Flames and Are You Listening? – as well as a live album. Live at KB (2019) not only captured the essence of Bonafide’s sound but also served as a powerful summary of the band’s first six albums. On the album\, the band delivers timeless classics like Night Time and Peg Legged Pete from their self-titled debut\, while putting their own stamp on tracks such as Dirt Bound and Fill Your Head With Rock from the 2009 release Something’s Drippin’. But it’s with live renditions of songs like Bottle of Jack\, Hold Down the Fort\, and Power Down that Snibb\, Matsson\, Ekelund\, and Rosell truly shine. The performance on Live at KB underscores Bonafide’s core ambition: to deliver hard rock as it was meant to be played—rooted in electric blues and early rhythm and blues.\nIn addition to their musical synergy\, the band features a lineup with a rich legacy within the Swedish rock scene: \nPontus Snibb\nFew Swedish musicians are as busy as Pontus Snibb. In addition to leading his own projects such as PS3\, Wreck of Blues\, and From the Sky\, he is also active in A Tribute to Led Zeppelin and plays with the legendary American band Jason and the Scorchers. He has previously been a member of The Wildhearts. \nNiklas Matsson\nBefore Bonafide\, Matsson played with Backdraft and Raging Slab. In 2023\, together with Ekelund\, Snibb\, and Ralf Gyllenhammar\, Matsson performed as part of Mustasch. He remains the drummer Mustasch and also collaborates with Snibb in the solo project PS3. \nMartin Ekelund\nEkelund has an extensive background as a tour manager\, including six years with The Ark. During his time on the road with Takida\, he survived two tour buses that caught fire. Today\, he works as a music producer in his own recording studio in Klippan. \nAnders Rosell\nBesides Bonafide\, Rosell maintains a successful solo career. Recently\, he released the single Forever Traveling Man. A self-taught musician\, Rosell began as a drummer before switching to guitar\, drawing influences from artists like Hendrix and Springsteen. His journey through music has been unconventional\, with no formal guidance through the classic rock and blues eras. \nThe History of Bonafide\nBonafide’s journey began in 2006 when Pontus Snibb and Micke Nilsson recorded the self-titled debut album. Snibb took on guitar\, drums\, and lead vocals\, while Nilsson played bass. Shortly thereafter\, Mikael Fässberg joined as the new lead guitarist\, and Sticky Bomb was announced as the drummer.\nIn 2007\, Bonafide made their live debut on May 19 at the Silja Rock Cruise in Stockholm. The following June\, they announced that their debut album would be released on October 1. Recorded in Snibb’s home studio\, the album included standout tracks like Down\, 50 Cent Millionaire and Gambling Blues. Released via Black Lodge Records\, the album was praised for its raw energy and no-frills\, three-chord rock sound. Bonafide quickly hit the road\, supporting iconic acts like Deep Purple and The Quireboys. On November 7\, 2007\, the band released their first music video\, Loud Band\, and celebrated with live performances in Malmö and Stockholm.\nIn 2008\, Bonafide performed at several high-profile shows\, including opening for Europe and Deep Purple at the Cloetta Center in Linköping and at Öja Krog in Ystad. Their performance in Ystad received positive reviews\, with critics praising their energetic riff-driven rock\, powerful guitar solos\, and Snibb’s gravelly vocals\, despite the limited stage time and reduced sound levels. That same year\, Bonafide penned the official anthem for the Sweden Rock Festival\, which was featured on a compilation album that also included their track Fill Your Head With Rock. This compilation was distributed for free on June 4th to all attendees who purchased a four-day ticket to the 2008 Sweden Rock Festival. In September\, the band announced additional tour dates across Sweden\, with shows scheduled in Gislaved\, Stockholm\, Västerås\, and Varberg. By November\, Bonafide revealed that pre-production for their second album was underway\, with plans to record with renowned producer Chips Kiesbye in February 2009. \nBonafide’s sophomore album\, Something’s Dripping\, was recorded at Musicamatic Studios in Gothenburg. The new album\, released in September\, showcased a fresh direction for the band\, with Snibb and guitarist Mikael Fässberg co-writing songs for the first time. Bonafide embraced a more aggressive\, riff-heavy style\, which they dubbed “genuine cock rock.” The album received widespread acclaim\, with tracks like Fill Your Head With Rock and Straight Shooters earning special praise. The expanded version of their debut album was also released globally\, featuring bonus tracks and a cover of Nazareth’s Miss Misery. Bonafide also embarked on a European tour in late 2009\, playing alongside Crucified Barbara.\nIn 2010\, Bonafide continued to build momentum\, playing several gigs across Europe\, including in Austria with Nazareth and The Quireboys. The year also saw the departure of drummer Sticky Bomb\, who was replaced by Niklas Matsson. Matsson\, a former member of Backdraft and Raging Slab\, joined the band just in time for their spring 2010 tour of Spain. Bonafide’s European tour included performances across Sweden\, Denmark\, the Netherlands\, and beyond. In December\, they announced the release of a new EP\, which included covers of classic rock songs like I Don’t Need No Doctor and I Can’t Explain. 2011 marked a significant year for Bonafide. Their new EP Fill Your Head With Rock – Old\, New\, Tried & True was released in January and quickly gained critical and commercial success. \nBonafide’s dynamic live performances continued to captivate audiences\, earning them a loyal following as they toured extensively across Scandinavia and Europe. During this period\, the band underwent a lineup change when founding member and bassist Micke Nilsson departed and was replaced by Martin Ekelund\, a seasoned musician with a rich history in several prominent Swedish rock bands. Ekelund’s arrival brought a fresh surge of energy to the group\, and their performances were met with even greater enthusiasm from fans. In November 2011\, Bonafide delivered a standout show at Debaser Medis\, which earned widespread acclaim\, particularly after Snibb’s daring jump into the crowd during a guitar solo. That same year\, the band’s song Fill Your Head With Rock\, written for Sweden Rock Festival\, was named one of the best songs of 2011 by Classic Rock magazine.\nIn 2012\, Bonafide made waves at the Sweden Rock Festival\, where they received a standing ovation. They also released Ultimate Rebel\, which showcased the band’s growth\, both musically and lyrically. With tracks like Too Fired Up and Rebel Machine\, the album’s energy and raw intensity captured the band’s evolving sound. Bonafide embarked on an extensive Scandinavian and UK tour to promote Ultimate Rebel\, playing in clubs\, theaters\, and festivals. The year also featured memorable performances at Akkurat\, where the band debuted in February and returned in December.\nOne of Bonafide’s standout moments in 2013 was the release of their live DVD Messin’ in Wales – Live at Hard Rock Hell 2012. Released on July 1\, it gave fans a chance to experience the band’s explosive live performances in a whole new way. Filmed during the final show of their Ultimate Rebel tour in Wales\, the DVD captured Bonafide’s high-energy performance at the Hard Rock Hell Festival\, where they delivered 120 decibels of rock ‘n’ roll on the main stage. This performance was hailed by many fans and critics as the highlight of the festival\, featuring a mix of songs from their entire catalog. Messin’ in Wales became a memorable document of one of Bonafide’s most beloved and electrifying shows. \nAt the same time\, the band was preparing for the next step in their career. Following the success of Ultimate Rebel\, Bonafide released their fourth studio album\, Bombo\, which came out about a year later. The album was a natural progression\, blending hard rock and blues rock\, and showcased the band’s ongoing evolution. Bombo received positive reviews\, with critics praising its dynamic and varied sound. Ulf Classon of Artrock described it as “bright and fresh\, with an open layout and very easy to settle into\,” rating it 8/10. He highlighted tracks like Bombo\, Bad As Clint and Rock ‘N’ Roll Skål as particularly memorable.\nIn 2015\, Bonafide released Denim Devils\, an album that showcased a more polished yet still gritty sound. The record received positive reviews\, with critics lauding the band’s skillful blend of classic rock influences and a more modern edge. Tracks like 50/50 and Hold Down the Fort quickly became fan favorites. The band toured extensively across Europe\, steadily growing their following\, and capped off the year with a Swedish tour alongside rock legends Black Star Riders.\nIn March 2016\, Bonafide released the single and video for Michelangelo\, a duet between Pontus Snibb and Ralf Gyllenhammar (Mustasch). This cover of Björn Skifs’ 1974 classic was praised by Skifs himself and marked a new musical direction for the band. Michelangelo was performed live for the first time at the Sweden Rock Festival that summer\, which became a highlight of the year. Bonafide also launched a new vinyl release of their first two albums\, Bonafide (2007) and Something’s Dripping (2009)\, in high-quality vinyl. The band toured extensively across several countries\, including Switzerland\, Germany\, the UK\, and Spain\, with notable performances at the Sweden Rock Festival and prestigious venues like the O2 Academy Islington in London. The year concluded with their traditional shows at Akkurat in Stockholm.\nBonafide released their highly anticipated album Flames on February 24\, 2017. The album received positive reviews for its energetic blend of AC/DC-inspired rock\, gospel\, and soul. Tracks like Back in the Flames\, Bottle of Jack and Power Down became fan favorites. The band toured extensively\, playing over 30 shows in Sweden\, the UK\, and Spain\, including performances at the O2 Academy in London and Yardbirds in Grimsby. Bonafide was nominated for several Gaffa Awards\, including “Best Group” and “Best Hard Rock/Metal\,” confirming their strong presence on the rock scene. \nIn 2018\, Bonafide focused on an intense touring schedule both in Sweden and internationally. A highlight was the recording of a live album at KB in Malmö in February\, capturing the band’s powerful live performances. The band also toured Finland and the UK\, with notable shows in Helsinki and Oulu\, and performed two concerts with Deep Purple in Finland. Tragically\, the year was marked by the passing of their former guitarist Mikael Fässberg in February\, a huge emotional loss for the band.\nIn early 2019\, Bonafide released their first live album\, Live at KB. Recorded at Kulturbolaget in Malmö in February 2018\, the album captured the raw energy of their live shows\, including powerful versions of recent songs like Bottle of Jack and Power Down. The band’s lineup with Snibb\, Matsson\, Rosell\, and Ekelund gave a definitive sound to their live shows. In addition to the album release\, Bonafide performed at several festivals\, including Bonfest in Scotland\, Malmöfestivalen\, and Kopparbergsfestivalen\, as well as numerous club gigs in Germany and Switzerland. A special highlight was the Bonafide & Friends at Zum Franziskaner concert in Stockholm\, a Christmas show celebrating the restaurant’s 130th anniversary.\n2020 brought challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic\, halting live performances and recording. However\, Bonafide used the time creatively\, recording new material and engaging with fans through social media. By 2021\, they were preparing for their return to the stage and the release of new music.\nIn 2022\, Bonafide hit the road again\, playing several major festivals and venues. Highlights included their performance at the Malmö Rock Festival\, their return to Sweden Rock Festival\, and their explosive performances at the Rock at Sea cruise in November. The band continued to grow their fanbase with each show\, and their presence in the European rock scene remained strong. \nIn 2023\, Bonafide released their highly acclaimed album Are You Listening?\, again produced by Kiesbye. The album garnered widespread praise for its fresh sound and compelling songwriting\, marking a collaborative effort within the band. Main songwriter Snibb shared songwriting credits with Rosell on three tracks\, and with Matsson and Ekelund on one track each. Additionally\, Filippa Nässil\, Pär Hellberg\, and James Braban also contributed to the songwriting process. Matsson made his first lead vocal contribution on the track Tonight I’m Wild. Additionally\, the band dropped the single Snacket\, a collaboration with Swedish rock legend Nisse Hellberg. Bonafide’s standout performances at the Skogsröjet Festival and their official album release party in Stockholm on October 28th were among the highlights of the year.\nIn 2024\, Bonafide began the year with a highly anticipated return to Malmö\, followed by shows in Germany and the Netherlands. Their performance at the Rockpalast/Crossroads Festival in Bonn was broadcast internationally\, and the band also played at major festivals like Azkena Rock in Spain. As they continued to tour\, Bonafide’s reputation as a high-energy live act grew stronger. The year also marked a significant milestone with Pontus Snibb’s nomination for International Frontman at the Hard Rock Hell Awards\, further cementing the band’s status on the international stage.\nBonafide is preparing for a thrilling performance at the Time To Rock Festival in Knislinge\, Sweden\, from July 4-7\, 2025. The band has written and released an official anthem for the festival\, aptly titled Time To Rock. Written by Pontus Snibb and performed by Bonafide\, this anthem will surely become a festival highlight. With Pontus Snibb’s extensive musical career and the band’s reputation for delivering hard-hitting rock anthems\, this new song is poised to be another classic. The anthem will be performed live during their set at the festival—mark your calendars for a show that promises to rock the stage and get everyone in the crowd ready for a Time To Rock! \n  \n  \nWelcome to SYTERIA WORLD. A realm of colourful\, pounding and punked-melodic rock that is occupied by Yorkshire -bred band Syteria\, who return this coming August 11 with their third album SYTERIA WORLD via Cargo. \nFormed by Jackie ‘Jax’ Chambers\, of the legendary UK rockers Girlschool\, alongside Argentine siblings Julia and Pablo Calvo\, and Steph Dawson\, with previous albums Rant-O-Bot and Reflection\, and a host of tours and festival appearances\, Syteria have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. \nThe Syteria sound mixes elements of modern pop/punk energies with more contemporary rock anthemic choruses\, incorporating four-part harmonies and using the ancient Solfeggio scale of recording in 432hz\, instead of the standard 440hz\, to leave you feeling in tune with the universe. \nThe debut album\, Rant-O-Bot received an award nomination and was shortlisted to the final five at the ‘Independent Music Awards’\, as well as ranking highly in many online voting polls for best band in various categories. The follow up album\, Reflection\, was released in 2020\, just before the pandemic\, supported by countless of stunning reviews. \nBack now with Syteria World\, the band have crafted an introspective album that explores the ups and downs of life through twelve tracks of powerful guitar riffs\, pounding beats\, and catchy choruses. The songs touch on a range of themes\, from chasing dreams and overcoming fears to dealing with breakups and social media monsters. There’s a sense of maturity and wisdom in the lyrics and music that marks a significant step forward for the band. \nOne of the most striking features of Syteria World is the honesty and vulnerability in the lyrics. Tracks like ‘Chasing Dreams’and ‘Breaking Through’ explore personal struggles and the journey towards self-discovery. Similarly\, ‘It’s a Mess’ confronts the chaos of the world head-on\, while ‘Debt Generation’ takes a critical look at consumerism and societal pressures. \nThe album showcases the band’s versatility and range\, with each track offering a unique take on the challenges and joys of life. From the bitter frustration of ‘E.M.P.T.Y.’ to the celebratory spirit of ‘Raise Your Glass\,’ this is an album that will have you singing along and nodding in agreement. \n
