SUMMARY:Tom Robinson with Adam Phillips Then & Now
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS :    Tom Robinson with Adam Phillips Then & Now Sat Aug 8th 2026 7-30pm-10p – Wrecking Ball Arts Centre \nAn evening of tall tales and top tunes from half a century working on the wilder fringes of\nthe Music Industry. Expect encounters with Alexis Korner\, Ray Davies\, Elton John\, Peter\nGabriel\, Todd Rundgren\, Eddy Grant and Brian Eno – alongside classics such as War Baby\,\nGlad to Be Gay\, and 2-4-6-8 Motorway. Plus unexpected back catalogue gems from Café\nSociety (1975) to Only The Now (2015) in this brand new two man show with virtuoso\nguitarist Adam Phillips. \nTom Robinson first record release was in 1975 as one-third of Café Society: an acoustic harmony\ntrio produced by Ray Davies of The Kinks who had discovered them playing at The Troubadour\ncoffee house in London’s Earls Court. After seeing The Sex Pistols at The 100 Club\, Tom realised “the Next Big Thing probably wasn’t going to be an acoustic harmony trio” and formed a new group of his own with guitarist Danny Kustow. The Tom Robinson Band were early supporters of Rock Against Racism and went on to enjoy Top Five success with 2-4-6-8 Motorway and mild notoriety a few months later with their LGBT anthem Glad To Be Gay. Their album Power In The Darkness entered the charts at No.4.\nIn the subsequent 50 years Tom’s been mentored by Alexis Korner and Martin Carthy\, written songs with Elton John and Peter Gabriel\, toured with The Police\, Red Wedge and The Undertones\, and Rocked Against Racism alongside The Clash\, Steel Pulse and X-Ray Spex. He’s also been banned by Radio One\, bankrupt and exiled in East Berlin\, and hounded by the tabloid press for being in love with a woman.\nMore recently he’s given 10\,000+ artists their first nationwide airplay on his BBC Introducing shows and served for ten years on the Ivor Novello Awards committee. At age 75 Tom still enjoys a reputation among his punk contemporaries – as well as the world of acoustic/roots music – as both as a master songsmith and a funny\, ferocious live performer.

SUMMARY:John Bramwell (I Am Kloot)

As John put it\, “It’sbeen great to find the joy of making music once again. These are themost uplifting songs of my career.”Bramwell’s razor sharp wit\, on the line and refreshingly true [and oftenhilarious] observations and instantly recognisable haunting vocalchannelled through some of the most honest and direct songwriting of ourtimes has seen Bramwell championed in rave reviews\, time after time. Most recently\, God Is In The TV celebrated John’s 2025 Beautiful Daysperformance as the highlight of the weekend. As Bramwell looks on to another year the 2026 road extends further andwider than before – a much anticipated tour of Ireland awaits as toomany of the UK’s finest venues where John’s cultivated audiences will betreated to an unforgettable evening and experience.

His sophomore release ‘Coming Up For Air’ was produced by the legendary Peter Frampton (“Davy already has a recognizable style. SUMMARY:Guitar Heads
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS :    Guitar Heads Wed March 11th 2026 8pm-10pm – Wrecking Ball Arts Centre \n\nAn unforgettable live experience from some of the UK’s most respected musicians \nGuitar Heads\nPerforming the greatest hits from the golden age of the electric guitar with their own unique twist\, this band’s musical pedigree is undeniable. The soulful vocals and stunning guitar of Jim Kirkpatrick\, the prodigious axe wizardry of Paul Rose\, soaring Hammond Organ courtesy of Nick Foley and the powerhouse rhythm section of Leon Cave and Chris Childs create an unforgettable experience. \nFrom The Shadows to Gary Moore\, Fleetwood Mac to Deep Purple\, Beck to Clapton\, this show is a must-see for every Guitar Head on the planet. \nTHE BAND \n\n\n\n\n\n\nJim Kirkpatrick\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDubbed “England’s equivalent to Joe Bonnamassa” by Blues Matters\, Jim Kirkpatrick has built up over a quarter-century’s experience in Blues and Rock and earned a tonne of respect from his fans\, peers and critics alike. Not only is he a gifted songwriter (who’s written numerous nationally UK playlisted songs) but he’s also a deft-fingered\, multi-skilled\, guitarist who’s famed for possessing both Bonnamassa-type energy and slide guitar and fingerstyle— worthy of the great Duane Allman — as well. \nJim is probably best-known as the lead guitarist of the legendary British melodic rock band FM\, with whom he’s served since 2008. However\, he’s also worked and toured with many other big hitters\, worldwide\, several of whom have collaborated with him on his solo material\, such as Bernie Marsden and John ‘Rhino’ Edwards. \nStriking out as a solo artist\, Jim made a seismic and immediate impact\, and earned well-deserved acclaim\, as a songwriter\, guitarist\, vocalist (and live performer) with his critically acclaimed\, 2020\, 12-track solo album ‘Ballad of a Prodigal Son’. Life Music Media called it “The most important British Blues-Rock album of recent years\,” and proclaimed\, “Jim should be regarded as being right at the pinnacle of the world’s best Blues guitarist/vocalists.” \nJim’s current solo album ‘Dead Man Walking” has been called ‘Quite simply a masterpiece’ by Metal Planet Music who gave it 10/10. Blues Matters Magazine said ‘This is the album of the year\, no question about it’ and continued to say ‘If there is a better blues/rock guitarist within this sceptres isle of ours\, I’ll eat my hat’! Blues In Britain exclaimed that the album is ‘Quite brilliant’! \nRecently\, Jim has been lauded as ‘the hardest working musician in the business’\, ‘Britains most unsung blues/rock guitar hero’ and ‘the biggest secret in the blues/rock world’. That is all about to change! \n\n\n\n\n\n\nPaul Rose\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPaul Rose\, born in Newcastle\, England in July 1966\, is without doubt one of the most unique and talented guitarists in the world today. Fundamentally a rock guitarist\, his extraordinary playing style touches on blues\, country\, jazz and folk\, blended together into a style that is entirely his own. Never a gig goes by where audience members don’t comment that Paul is the best guitarist they’ve seen and heard. \nRory Gallagher awarded Paul a Fender ’62 Reissue Strat\, with a Vox AC30\, in a Fender sponsored competition that invited guitarists from all over the UK to appear in local music shops. Entrants were required to play in front of a video camera using the guitar and amp in question\, without any pedals\, to be edited and shown to Rory at a later date. Out of 1000 guitarists\, Rory selected Paul as the winner and described him as ‘a hot player with a hot future.’ Having also won ‘Guitarist of the Year’ in Guitarist Magazine a couple of years later\, it is plainly obvious that Paul is a force to be reckoned with. \nPaul has worked as a producer/artist/session guitarist with Ted McKenna (drummer with The Sensational Alex Harvey Band\, Rory Gallagher\, Micheal Schenker\, Bobby Womack)\, Gerry McAvoy (bassist with Rory Gallagher for 25 years)\, Randy Brecker (The Brecker Brothers)\, Bill Evans (tenor sax Miles Davis\, Mick Jagger\, Herbie Hancock\, Derek Trucks) & John ‘Rabbit’ Bundrick (Free\, Bob Marley and the Wailers\, Jon Martyn\, Pete Townsend and 30 years with The Who) amongst others. \nHis last album ‘Double Life’ was recorded at the Steakhouse\, Hollywood\, CA which Paul co produced with multi Grammy award winner John Wooler (Gary Moore\, Johnny Winter\, john Lee Hooker\, Albert Collins). The album featured Terry Evans on vocals (35 years with Ry Cooder)\, Richie Morales on drums (Al Demeola\, The Brecker Brothers\, Mike Stern)\, Randy Jacobs on rhythm guitar (Elton John\, Kris Kristofferson\, Was Not Was)\, Bernard Fowler lead vocals (backing vocals with the Rolling Stones for 25 years) & Sweat Pea Atkinson on vocals (Was Not Was\, Lyle Lovett). The album received 5 star reviews across the board\, and gig of the month for London during the album tour. \nPaul has spent the last 18 months in the New York area playing with his US version of the Paul Rose Trio\, featuring Richie Morales (Spyra Gyra\, Al Demeola\, The Brecker Brothers) and Mark Egan (Pat Metheny Group\, David Sanborn\, Gil Evans). With a weekly residency at the Bitter End in Greenwich Village and gigs at the Iridium and B. B. SUMMARY:Jarrod Dickenson
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS:  Jarrod Dickenson Fri Feb 20th 2026 8pm-10pm – Wrecking Ball Arts Centre \n  \nIf Jarrod Dickenson’s third studio album\, BIG TALK sounds like a mightyroar of defiance\, that’s not a design choice or a marketing decision. The big Texan is settling scores all over town and he means everyf*cking word. So what happened in the years since the release ofDickenson’s soulful sophomore long-player\, Ready the Horses\, to haveturned this honey-voiced southern gentleman into a brawler? After amajor label deal-gone-bad threatened to choke off his career and Covidcomplications left him with a life-long medical condition Dickensonwould have certainly been forgiven for retreating to his Nashville hometo lick wounds and maybe write a collection of introspective self-pityanthems. Instead\, the hardships and infuriation of recent years haveonly added steel to the resolve of an artist already willing to do itthe hard way\, prepared to stand in the face of a music business thatshows dwindling regard for the brand of artistry that first inspired himto pick up a guitar and sing for his life. This album representsDickenson’s most direct and uncompromising body of song writing to date\,and his decision to occupy the producer’s chair has injected BIG TALKwith a drive and coherence that compliments the muscle of its material.Dickenson now exists as a fiercely independent artist\, a look that suitshim well and allows his creativity to follow whatever path it damn wellpleases.
